Current County Operating Budget

The Office of County Administrator and County Department of Accounting are responsible for the maintenance of the County Operating Budget. The Washington County Board of Supervisors typically adopts the Operating Budget for Washington County Virginia in June of each year for the period beginning July 1 through June 30. Many of the boards, authorities, commissions and agencies of the County government have their own operating budgets that are not part of the County Operating Budget. The Operating Budget made available here is as of the date of adoption and does not contain any subsequent amendments thereto.
