2002 Washington County Comprehensive Plan

The 2002 Washington County, Virginia Comprehensive Plan as adopted by the Washington County Board of Supervisors on February 4, 2003 may be accessed by clicking on the link below. In 2001, Washington County began a process to revise its 1978 Comprehensive Plan. Comprehensive Plans are required of all cities, counties and towns in the Commonwealth of Virginia pursuant to Sec. 15.2-2223 of the 1950 Code of Virginia, as amended. The County Comprehensive Plan is a guidence document for the future growth and development of Washington County, used by both local government leaders and the public.
