County Department of Planning

Under the direction of the County Administrator, the County Department of Planning provides professional work in updating, maintaining and administering the Washington County Comprehensive Plan and County subdivision and zoning ordinances. The Department provides professional advice and technical assistance to the Washington County Planning Commission, Board of Supervisors, Board of Zoning Appeals and others with respect to overall real estate development, land use activities and community development policies and practices of the County.
