County Department of Building Inspection

Under the direction of the County Administrator, the County Department of Building Inspection enforces the building, electrical, and plumbing codes of Washington County and Commonwealth of Virginia and issues building and related permits. The Department may also issue various permits for the County Department of Zoning Administration.
