Virginia Highlands Airport Authority
The Virginia Highlands Airport Authority (VHAA) is responsible for the operation of Virginia Highlands Airport, a general aviation facility located along U.S. Highway 11 one mile south of Abingdon, Virginia. The Authority is composed of a seven (7) member Board of Directors, one (1) Director from each of the County's seven Election Districts appointed by the Washington County Board of Supervisors for four (4) year terms.
